Installation of a new Windmöller & Hölscher (W&H) 8 Colour flexo-graphic printing line.

The scope of this project included working closely with senior production and product quality assurance teams, to understand the clients long-run printing needs and requirements. The client required a six color CI Flexo-press to satisfy a long-run order, to operate in line with its multi-barrier extruded film production lines. The machine needed to meet to quality systems BS5750/IS09002 (1987)

Product samples were provided by the client and tests were run on the machine prior to purchase, to ensure product alignment. Following several weeks of trials and product testing the results were successful and the client purchased the machine. The sale included commissioning, cranage, loading, containerization and shipping as well as insurance and finance. The project led to another 4 lines being installed, increasing printing capacity by 33%.
