In 2002, BLP founders collaborated with one of the World’s leading brands, Coca-Cola. The project involved product testing and trials for Coca-Cola Bottlers (Ulster) “Deep River-Rock” bottled water project.
The scope of the project included the design and manufacture of a 26 g/750 ml bottle. Once the agreed period of successful trialing had been completed, on-site the moulds were polished, packaged and posted, meeting Coca-Cola Bottlers’ (Ulster) strict timeline.
Ian Wilks, Head of Marketing said, “Working to high tolerances, we were able to meet Coca-Cola Bottlers (Ulster) stringent product criteria. The knowledge gained from this project enables us to provide a bespoke turn-key service to each of our mould-clients with a potential value of over £2 Million.”
Coke’s Deep River-Rock mold was later showcased at Pet-Point in Essen, Germany.
As result Deep River Rock’s ‘Purer than You’ slogan reflects the youthful and edgy image associated with the product. It is available in still and sparkling variants in a range of single and multi-pack sizes. The 500ml size is an iconic pack for immediate consumption.
The brand’s 750ml sports cap bottle is going from strength to strength acting as a key driver of the water category in Ireland.
